About this role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our established and respected, specialist sexual violence team, working in a new partnership role with Teesside Mind and Open Door North-East.

ARCH Teesside is a specialist sexual violence service with almost 30 years’ experience of delivering quality support to victim/survivors of sexual violence/abuse. Based in Middlesbrough, we provide advocacy services to adults and children and young people across Teesside.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to be part of a new innovative team contributing meaningfully to the transformation of mental health services in Middlesbrough. The team is closely aligned with the NHS long-term strategy for mental health care, ensuring that improvements are delivered in meaningful and practical ways at a local level.

The new team will comprise staff employed by 3 organisations bringing together their specialisms – Arch Teesside, Open Door North East and Teesside Mind. As part of the team, you will work in close partnership with TEWV NHS Foundation Trust community teams, GP practices, and organisations within the voluntary and community sector. This collaborative approach is central to the role, fostering strong connections across mental health and wider support systems.

Caseloads will be managed differently from traditional roles. The team will work in dynamic and solution-focused ways, prioritising pathways that help individuals access the correct support promptly. In some cases, support may be provided over only a few meetings, yet the impact will be significant, ensuring that people are directed to the appropriate resources and feel genuinely supported.

Compassion, curiosity, and energy are essential for success in this role. If you are committed to delivering your best for everyone you work with, your contribution will be valued and welcomed and we’d love to hear from you.
