Life Enhancement Skills Advisor (LESA)
After experiencing any form of sexual abuse, it’s normal for your emotions to be running high. For many people, this can have a real impact on how they cope with everyday issues. We can support you.
What is the LESA Service?
We understand that for many people the impact of sexual violence can affect how they manage day-to-day with issues such as finances, benefits, and work.
The Life Enhancement Skills Advisors (LESA) is a service that we have developed which can offer practical help and support to existing ARCH clients, helping you to overcome these difficulties.
What can they help with?
Working alongside our other services, our LESA advisors are here to make sure you get all the practical support you may need. They can help identify any areas you may be struggling with and will work with you to create an action plan to assist you in all aspects of day-to-day life such as:
• Housing advice
• Help with drug and alcohol problems
• Improving qualifications
• Returning to work, training or education
• Welfare and benefits advice
• Financial support
We can also work with you towards any hopes and aspirations you might have for the future.
